Treasurer
Rick Kay
Rick Kay was appointed as Treasurer in 2008. In this role, he attends Council meetings and related committee meetings in a nonvoting role. Along with the Village Manager, he is responsible for signing all checks written by the Village.
A native of Cincinnati, Rick graduated from Mariemont High School and Washington University in St. Louis. He has been a Certified Public Accountant for 20 years, focusing mainly in tax. Currently Rick is a Tax Manager with Barnes Dennig & Co., a public accounting firm downtown.
Rick and his partner, Jim Kelly, have lived in Amberley since 2002. Rick has been an active volunteer for Caracole, Inc., recently serving as Board President. Currently he serves on the Finance Committees of Caracole, Inc., and Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Ohio.
